Job Fair

Each spring health care employers gather to meet face-to-face with Michener students and graduates. More than 30 exhibitors were represented at the 2007 fair, and 2008 promises to be larger still. Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with employers from across the province and around the country.

Michener 2008 Job Fair - April 2, 2008

Michener offers free employment seminars to all Michener students and graduates each year in advance of the Job Fair. Learn how to present yourself, both in writing and in person, to employers. Find out more by contacting success@michener.ca

International Opportunities

The Michener Institute offers a number of opportunities for its students to study and work in other countries. These are generally available in the final year of the program. They can be any of the following options:

• 2-6 week international clinical placement
• An exchange program with an overseas student (Michener student goes to Country A - Country A student comes to Michener - does not have to be at the same time)
• A clinical placement incorporated into the final year objectives
• An elective semester.

Criteria

• Student must possess a B+ average.
• Student must have demonstrated exemplary clinical skills.
• Selected site must be approved by Michener - sites must be either an educational institution or affiliated with an educational institution.
• Applicant must be a Michener student in good standing with Michener.

Graduate Employment Registry

The graduate employment registry is offered through Student Services and provides Michener graduates with access to all jobs in the job registry.
