- Where to obtain basic program information?
- If I have missing pre-requisites, what do I do?
- Applicants can take missing pre-requisites from any Canadian universities as a degree student or non-degree student.
- I have applied online, what's next?
- Applicants will receive an acknowledgement letter from Admissions and Awards, University of Toronto, followed by a letter from the Medical Radiation Sciences Program.
- How to submit transcripts?
- UofT students do not have to submit transcripts. Non UofT students submit transcript requests through OUAC online application.
- Can I apply as a mature student?
- There is no mature student policy in the Medical Radiation Sciences Program
- I have studied Medical Radiation Sciences from another country. Can I transfer into the Medical Radiation Sciences Program?
- There is no transfer policy in the Medical Radiation Sciences Program.
- If my Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is less than B-, what do I do?
- You can improve the CGPA by taking more courses.
- If I have missing prerequisites, can I take them in the summer session after the application deadline in March?
- Yes, you can. Moreover, the admission committee will decide whether or not to extend a provisional offer to you based on your previous academic performance. If you receive a provisional offer from the program, there is a possibility that there is no vacancy in the program when you complete the pre-requisite at the end of the summer session.
- If I am a foreign trained MD, how do I apply? Do I have to get my transcript and credential assessed prior to my application?
- You apply online to OUAC and submit a notarized copy of your transcript and degree certificate to the Medical Radiation Sciences Office. After you have applied to the program, your transcript will be assessed at no cost.
- If I have more than one year of university education prior to application to the Medical Radiation Sciences Program, do I receive any transfer credits?
- Applicants who are accepted into the Medical Radiation Sciences Program and have more than one year of university education, will be eligible to apply for a maximum of 3.0 transfer credits in the entire program.
- How many people apply to the program and how many spaces are available?
- The Medical Radiation Sciences Program accepts annually 130 students for all three disciplines (Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and Radiological Technology) from about 500 applicants.
- How to submit final transcripts?
- Applicants who are UofT students do not need to submit final transcript for the winter session. Applicants who are non UofT students have to submit final transcript request for the winter session through OUAC during the online application process.
