First Aid & CPR Certification
Michener requires students to have current certification in First Aid & CPR for Health Care Providers from a course endorsed by the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Examples of Heart & Stroke Foundation approved courses include those offered by Red Cross and St. John’s Ambulance.
If you need to obtain this certification, The Michener Institute offers this course through continuing education during the summer. To register, please visit http://www.michener.ca/ce/catlist.php?main=2&sub=2&sub2=2&main_category_id=5 and select Canadian Red Cross - Standard First Aid and CPR for Health Care Providers to view dates and times.
Please include your graduating year and program when submitting a copy of your First Aid & CPR for Health Care Providers certification to Health Services before August 30 to:
