Future Students

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

Students enrolled in the following programs may be eligible, if qualified, for assistance under the Canada Student Loans (CSL) and/or the Ontario Student Loans (OSL) components of OSAP:

  • Cardiovascular Perfusion
  • Chiropody
  • Diagnostic Cytology
  • Genetics Technology
  • Medical Laboratory Science
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Ultrasound (Full Time Program)

Any and all supporting documentation or paper applications for these 7 programs should be forwarded to Michener's Financial Aid Office.

Students in the Medical Radiation Sciences programs:

  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Radiation Therapy
  • Radiological Technology

should list the University of Toronto as the institution they plan to attend. Any and all supporting documentation or paper applications for these 3 programs should be forwarded to:

Michener Students

Applying online - If you apply online through the OSAP web site, the application fee is waived. Please bring a print out of your application and any supporting documentation to the Financial Aid Officer.

Applying in person - If you submit your OSAP application through Michener, please provide the original application, a photocopy of the application and a $10 processing fee to the Financial Aid Officer. Michener will forward your application and fee to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Students in Joint Michener/University of Toronto programs

When applying for OSAP for these three programs (Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and Radiological Technology), please list the University of Toronto as the institution you're planning to attend on your OSAP application.

Applying in person - If you submit your OSAP application in person, please provide the original application and a $10 processing fee to the University of Toronto, Admissions and Awards. U of T will forward your application and fee to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

The OSAP Information Bulletin Board is located outside the Registrar and Student Enrolment office on the fourth floor. Please check this board to determine if your loan is ready and to keep abreast of any changes or important financial aid information. Students in joint Michener/University of Toronto programs should contact the Admissions and Awards Office at UofT.
