Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) Certificate
Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) is critical to the delivery of care in Canada’s health care system. The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences is at the forefront of IPC curriculum development and delivery across the health professions. This program is designed to build on health care professionals’ existing knowledge and skills to enhance further interprofessional collaboration in health care settings.
Evidence indicates that when health care professionals work together sharing their knowledge and skills, the quality of patient care improves.
This certificate program consists of six modules delivered in four-hour workshops that models “learning from, with, and about one another”. (CAIPE, 1997)
