Will I receive a Convocation 2011 package in the mail?
No. You will receive a number of e-mails in your Michener e-mail account with reminders to register online by the deadline of Friday, May 6th 2011. All the information you need can be found in the links on the left side of this site.
What name appears on my diploma/certificate?
This will be the name that was used upon registration for your program and which is currently on your student record. For information on how to change your name in our records, please contact the Student Enrolment Office at info@michener.ca
What fees are required?
There is one-time gown rental fee of $20.00 (payable through PayPal, at this link) This needs to paid before Friday, May 6th 2011.
How many tickets am I allowed for friends and family?
Each graduate will be mailed 2 COMPLIMENTARY tickets. Please note that the graduate does not need a ticket. Up to two extra tickets can be purchased through the 'extra tickets' link in the left column.
I am a certificate program student. Will I receive my graduate certificate at the ceremony?
Graduate certificates will not be distributed. Only the diplomas for the full-time programs will be given out at the ceremony. They are mailed throughout the year as students complete the program requirements.
I am not attending Convocation 2011. How do I receive my diploma?
If you are not attending graduation, print and fill out the “REQUEST FOR DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE PICK UP OR BY COURIER" (PLEASE NOTE - Graduates need to request their diploma within one year of graduating).
