This series of lectures and presentations is specifically designed for international health professionals as an introduction to concepts of health care delivery and life-long commitment to education and learning in Canada. Your previous experience in your profession is of enormous importance but your lack of experience with registration exams and with the Canadian workplace can be a barrier to your success. This course is specifically designed to bridge that gap and enhance your success. The objectives in this course include to:
* review learning styles, study habits and time management;
* outline existing legislation and expectations of regulatory bodies and employers in Ontario and in Canada;
* discuss the differences between your experience in your country of origin and the realities of health care delivery in Canada;
* outline the context, nature and intended use of registration exams in Canada

This is a 39-hour, 3-credit course (one credit = 13 hours of instruction)
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, over a 13 week period.
