Interdisciplinary Studies AOIS 111

This series of lectures and presentations is an important introduction for international health professionals to concepts of health care delivery in Canada.

Our objective is to outline in some detail existing legislation governing the delivery of health care in Canada, expectations of regulatory bodies and employers and, through discussion, the differences between your experience in your country of origin and the realities of health care delivery in Canada in general and in Ontario in particular. Each unit contains an evaluation component.

Your previous experience in your profession is of enormous importance but understanding the Canadian workplace is vital to your success.

These presentations are specifically designed to "bridge" those differences-our sole objective is your success.
